USDA Rural Development Home Buying

Please Read

The United States Department of Agriculture's Rural Development home buying assistance program (RD) is designed to assist people with low to moderate incomes to become home buyers.

(1) You must have a steady job.
(2) You must have a clean credit history.
(3) You must submit a completed application to the local RD office.
at 1505 Glenn English Blvd., Cordell Ok., 73632.

You can pick up an application at most real estate offices or from the RD office that services your area.
After completing and submiting the application the RD office will usually within 10 days notify you of any additional information needed which must be returned within 10 days. Failure to do so will result in your application being pulled.
Once RD has approved your application you will be notified as to how much home you are qualified to buy. The current maximum is about $84,000.
At this point you must then go home shopping with a realtor of your choice, select a home to purchase, sign a purchase contract with the realtor who will then submit the contract to RD.
Once all paper work has been done you will be notified of the closing date with any pertinent information. Then on closing day you will become a home owner.

We at KURTZ will fill out the application for you, submit it to RD, and stay involved with you throughout the complete process insuring that all rules are followed from beginning to end.
